Well, personally, I feel artists create work that reminds us of the past, show us what's currently happening now, and shows us what the future can/will be.

What is the place of your work in society?

My work illustrates the upbringing and life of the average Nigerian which most of my viewers relate to. And I do a lot of storytelling through my art, which brings some sort of emotions to the audience. So, I feel my art plays a big role in society by connecting different people of various backgrounds and cultures to a moment on canvas they can easily relate with.

Honestly, I feel art is heading to a place where there's less creativity. People create art just to monetize it and not to connect with people.
